Roxie is the epitome of a group fitness leader who passionately coaches other to reach their full potential in all aspects of life. Roxie was an Army Brat and grew up traveling around the world with her dad to include Vicenza Italy where she got her passion for teaching group exercise.
Felicia has been in the Fitness Business since 1985 and has loved every minute of it! From teaching land and water classes, to running a weight loss program, designing and running a Sixty Plus Program, creating and directing a full service Fitness/Wellness center, teaching for a Community College, and now as Program Manager for 25 Aerobic, Sports, and Fitness Center Sites for Millennium Enterprises.
Cassie always found healing powers in movement of the body. Growing up a classical dancer, she finds yoga and barre to be a way to tie together body and soul. She completed her 200-hour Yoga-Teacher certification at Flow Yoga in Washington, DC as well as an apprenticeship with Ease Yoga in Alexandria, VA and received her barre certification at Lava Barre. She also recently became ACE certified in group fitness.
Hello! My name is Charita Moore and I reside in Bowie, MD. I’ve been a ZIN Member since Aug 2014 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! I have a Bachelors Degree in Dance and am currently licensed to teach Zumba and Strong by Zumba.
My passion for fitness began in my younger years as an athlete. Through my love of music and my high energy to motivate people led me into the fitness industry where I have managed to call my stimulant for life!
Betty Courtney has been practicing yoga since 1997 and teaching since 2013. Her yoga practice has provided the physical and spiritual nourishment to lead an active lifestyle of swimming, hiking, gardening and traveling.
Tony Bryan has been in the Wellness and Fitness Industry for over 40 years. He’s an MEI Wellness Specilist at The National Cancer Institiue in Rockville Maryland.
My name is Valerie Martin and I have been teaching fitness classes for 41 years! I love exercising and teaching group exercise in many different genres. I am passionate about helping others in their health and wellness journeys and becoming the best version of themselves that they can be!
Lei first started teaching yoga and meditation in 2015 under the tutelage of an Iyengar-based teacher training program. Le discovered yoga in 2008 after experiencing recurring sports injuries, and she combined yoga with her heritage of traditional Asian medicine for a full recovery.
I always had a love for fitness and exercise. Whether it is soccer, judo, Brazilian Jiu-jitsu, and Zumba, staying fit and motivating others to get healthy has always been at the forefront of my life plan.
Niki Knight began her journey to yoga while working with the Federal government as an IT Specialist in 2010. The Spelman College alumna deepened her yoga practice in 2018 and completed Faith Hunter’s Spiritually Fly™ 200 hr Hatha Yoga teacher training program.
Jessica has been practicing yoga since 2002 and began teaching in 2007. She has over 10,000 hours of teaching experience and has worked nationally and internationally with a wide range of students from diverse backgrounds.
Kelly is extremely passionate about the Health Sciences, with over 19 years’ experience as a American College of Sports Medicine Clinical Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-CEP), National Academy of Sports Medicine Certified Personal Trainer (NASM-CPT) and with 10 years’ experience as a yoga teacher.
A long-time Winthrop resident and “gym rat”, Lisa never imagined she would be so in love with yoga. As a fitness instructor, Lisa has been interested in human anatomy and became certified to teach yoga in 2005.
Jenny has been a dedicated student of the yoga system of Sri B.K.S. Iyengar, and has travelled to Pune, India, where she spent two months studying with Geeta and Prashant Iyengar. She completed a three year teacher training course, and became a certiﬁed Iyengar yoga instructor in 1998.
I'm Morgan, I'm a mother, personal trainer, and group fitness instructor. I've been into fitness for almost 10 years now. I started weight training and got into body building where I competed in my 1st show. I use to weigh over 200 lbs so I know the struggle and benefits of being healthy. If I can do it so can you! My goal is to get everyone active and motivated to try new things. Let's stay healthy and stay active!

Tseng Rou Pak,( 4th genertion and close door student of 3rd Generation YangStyle TaiChi Grand master, also studied Mind Boxing (Chi Gung) under 2nd Generation Mind Boxing Grand master Yu Yong-Min
Keira Turner, a native Washingtonian, joined Millennium Health & Fitness, Inc. in 2017 as a Pilates Mat instructor teaching at Andrews AFB. Later that year Ms. Turner took over one of the Abs, Glutes & Thighs classes with Department of State, offering a mix of low to high impact cardiovascular and toning exercises focusing on functional fitness.
Candace Glover serves as a yoga teacher with the Millenium Fitness at the DC Navy Yard location. Drawn to the mission of promoting positive community and holistic knowledge, this Washingtonian native loves to embrace wellness in all forms, including a strong practice in reiki and meditation. With a 200 & 300 accredited hour certification as a RYT and a passion for all things yoga.
