Joe Burkhart is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of experience investing in a variety of industries. Currently, Joe serves as the Managing Partner of CFT, a premier provider of engineering services for military aircraft and weapon systems, including integrated logistics and C5ISR integration.

He is also affiliated with Boathouse Capital, a lower middle market private equity fund focused on providing capital solutions to high growth and later stage companies. Value creation is central to its investment approach and the firm is focused on building scale in established companies that are well-positioned for accelerated growth. Its flexible and creative capital solutions are tailored to facilitate the unique needs and goals of each company.

Joe is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame with a BBA in Accounting. He holds an MBA from the University of Virginia. Joe grew up in Milwaukee, WI and now lives in the Washington, DC-area with his wife and three children. Joe grew up cheering for the Green Bay Packers and he went on to become a team owner. When not working, Joe can be found on the sidelines cheering for his kids’ sports teams or working on his golf game.

Jeffrey Eagan

Jeffrey A. Eagan is a highly accomplished executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience leading and owning federal government contracting companies. His companies primarily focused on serving the Department of the Air Force and the Department of the Navy, by providing expertise in healthcare administration, facilities management, training, data analytics, engineering, and operations analysis.

Additionally, Jeff brings a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions, having worked on both the buy-side and sell-side as a principal, and has advised numerous companies on M&A and exit strategies. Jeff has led successful exits of two of his companies—one through a sale to a strategic acquirer and another to a private equity-backed investor group.

Before establishing his government contracting portfolio, Jeff was an international corporate attorney with a prominent Tokyo law firm and an international tax consultant with one of the “Big 5” accounting firms. He is also a member of the Virginia State Bar and served on the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association (NSBA).

Jeff holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Tulane University, a Juris Doctor from George Mason School of Law, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Temple University Beasley School of Law – Tokyo Campus.

He has combined his love of travel with his passion for maintaining a healthy lifestyle, by hiking in such places as the Alps, Andes, and Kathmandu Valley, and scuba diving in various spots in the South Pacific, including Palau and the Great Barrier Reef.

Jeff calls Orlando home and enjoys playing golf and taking his family to the natural and theme parks in the area.

Leo Legidakes is a seasoned leader with a distinguished career spanning over a decade as a Navy SEAL, bringing a mission-driven mindset, strategic acumen, and a commitment to excellence into the business world. With an MBA from the University of Michigan and a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology from Montana State University, Leo has successfully transitioned from military service to leadership roles in business, leveraging his operational expertise and team-building experience to drive organizational success.

A proud father and husband, Leo grew up in San Diego, CA, where his love for the outdoors and adventure took root. His time at Montana State deepened his passion for performance, endurance, and human movement, shaping his approach to leadership and personal development. When not spending time with his family, Leo can be found chasing one of his many hobbies, including surfing, mountain biking, skiing, aviation, and exploring the outdoors.

Jeff brings over 30 years of leadership from high-stakes roles in the Fire Service, US Army, CIA and Business. With his innate ability to visualize systems, he excels at aligning people and processes to drive growth while dissecting the complexities of human behavior. Jeff’s fascination with why we do what we do—especially under pressure—stems from navigating crisis environments, from counterterrorism to corporate strategy. His insights into the interplay of psychology, sociology, and performance shape his approach to leadership and innovation.

Over the past five years, Jeff turned his attention to the health and fitness industry seeking to disrupt behavioral patterns by understanding all factors influencing choice. Jeff’s philosophy blends relentless curiosity with practical application, helping others find clarity amidst complexity. He remains grounded in his mission to understand what anchors us, seeking the “original state” of safety that drives behavior. And most importantly, Jeff gets to be a dad to three incredible humans who will undoubtedly conquer the world one day.

Kristina Morton
Controller

Kristina Morton,
Controller

Kristina served in the USMC for five years and upon completion, she enrolled into university earning a bachelor’s degree in business management, focusing on finance. While she was attending university, she went to work with Millennium in 2015 as a Contract Manager overseeing the ten fitness center accounts from the oversight of operations to the revenue accounting.

Early in 2017, Kristina came to work full time as the bookkeeper while finishing college and raising two babies. In 2020, Kristina advanced to oversee all aspects of the accounting and finance department. Recently, Kristina advanced to Controller, where she is responsible for overseeing an organization's daily accounting operations, including the accounting, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.

Sean Venckus

Sean is a United States Army Veteran with over a decade of leadership experience in sports medicine as well as strength and conditioning. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University in Athletic Training as well as a Master of Science degree from Concordia University Chicago in Strength and Conditioning.

Sean spent 8 years as an Athletic Trainer for the University of Alabama Huntsville Hockey and Baseball teams prior to joining Millennium. He has served Millennium for 5 years as both a Fitness Coordinator and Operations Manager helping provide world class Wellness and Fitness services across the globe.

Sean has been married to his wonderful wife Katie for 16 years and has a son Ryan (7) and a daughter Avery (5). When not at the gym, Sean can be found at the golf course, fishing pond, or his backyard grill.

Michele Decker

Michele Decker,
Program Manager, CHPS

Air Force (AF) Civilian Health Promotion Services (CHPS) Program Manager, providing oversight of multiple health and wellness programs and staff and serving as liaison to the program’s customers. Michele was previously the Health Promotion Coordinator for CHPS on Robins AFB for five years and the Training Coordinator for all CHPS locations AF-wide for two and a half years. CHPS is a mobile worksite wellness program providing free resources to help the civilian workforce maintain and improve their health and well-being through onsite and virtual services.

Michele obtained her bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems and a master’s degree in Human Services Counseling: Health and Wellness (Department of Counseling). She holds certificates as a Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Worksite Wellness Specialist, nutrition specialist, financial planner, physical therapy aide, and in project management.

Beginning his career as an Executive Assistant, Zac demonstrated a keen ability to streamline operations and integrate emerging technologies to improve efficiency. His problem-solving mindset and adaptability led them to take on increasing responsibilities in project management, IT strategy, and digital transformation.

With a strong commitment to learning and professional growth, Zac transitioned into technology management roles, mastering data analytics, cybersecurity, system integration, and digital health solutions. They played a pivotal role in implementing AI-driven platforms, telehealth solutions, and customer-centric technologies, ensuring seamless adoption and compliance with industry regulations.

Sarah Erickson

Sarah is a passionate public health professional dedicated to promoting access to health and wellness support for diverse communities. With a Master of Public Health from the University of Florida and dual Bachelor's degrees in Public Health and Medical Anthropology and Global Health from the University of Washington, she brings extensive expertise in health promotion, program management, and community engagement.

As the Director of Content Development at Millennium Health & Fitness, Sarah leads the health and wellness content strategy and execution. She works collaboratively with various teams to create high-quality, informative, and meaningful content that drives engagement in Millennium's multitude of programs.

Sarah's commitment to health and wellness extends beyond her professional life. She enjoys staying active through biking, hiking, walking her dogs, yoga, and strength training. Originally from Southern California and now residing in Arizona, Sarah thrives in the sunshine, never forgetting her sunscreen!

Kiam Boerema

Kiam Boerema is a dynamic leader with a decade of experience in Special Operations and Human Performance and Wellness, known for his strategic mindset and ability to drive results in high-pressure environments. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, he built a distinguished career as a Special Forces Officer, leading cross-functional teams in complex, multinational operations. His expertise spans strategic project management, human perfromancet, and partner engagement, skills he honed while overseeing large-scale initiatives across the military and private sectors.

A lifelong learner, he is pursuing his MBA at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business to further refine his leadership and analytical skills. Passionate about mentorship and personal growth, he actively supports transitioning veterans through organizations like the Green Beret Foundation and Wounded Warrior Project. With a foundation built on excellence, integrity, and perseverance, Kiam continues to shape and transform organizations through strategic vision and collaborative leadership.

Lori Bane

Lori brings over two decades of experience in the graphic design and marketing industry, fueled by an unwavering passion for creativity and design excellence. She holds a Bachelor's in Business Education from the University of South Florida and a Master's in Creativity, Cognition, Instruction & Development from Texas A&M University.

Lori's career began as a high school educator in Tampa, FL, before teaching abroad in Vicenza, Italy, with the Department of Defense Dependent Schools. She taught courses in graphic design, digital media, marketing, website development, and more, while also holding numerous educational leadership roles. In 2017, Lori embraced entrepreneurship, founding her own freelance Graphic Design/Marketing company where she lent her creative talents to numerous corporations, specializing in logo design, presentation and template design, developing marketing campaigns and full magazine publications. In her role as Marketing Director at Millennium Health & Fitness, Lori hopes to bring her unique blend of creativity, strategic insight, and industry expertise to drive impactful marketing initiatives and propel the organization forward.

In her personal time, Lori is passionate about hiking, drone photography, and traveling. Her love for adventure has taken her around the world, where she has explored stunning landscapes in over 50 countries. This global adventure has not only deepened her appreciation for different cultures but also reinforced her belief in the power of outdoor activities for physical and mental well-being.

Jill Hathaway

Jill has a diverse background in both business and recreation, with expertise in areas such as real estate, health and wellness, yoga, and facility management. She is a certified group fitness instructor and personal trainer, as well as a cycling instructor.

Currently, Jill serves as the Contract Operations Manager for Millennium Health and Fitness. She has over 10 years of experience in the health and fitness industry, having held various roles throughout her career. Her journey began as a Fitness Coordinator for MWR Navy Fitness in Sicily, Italy, where she played a vital role in developing staff and enhancing facility programming. She is an effective collaborator with strong organizational skills, which have enabled her to build community activities and outreach programs successfully. Most recently, she completed her 200YTT with a focus on meditation, rounding out her belief that whole health wellness includes mindfulness.

Outside of work, Jill has a passion for travel. She says her claim to fame was living in Sicily for seven years and traveling throughout Europe. Now she explores her home state of NC and takes any opportunity to explore small towns or spend days on a hiking trail.

CJ Johnson

Cj joined MHF in 2023, bringing over 25 years of experience as a Project Manager, Creative Director, and Designer. She has led creative projects for national events, theme parks, live shows, and festivals, managing all aspects from inception to completion.

With expertise in residential and commercial design, Cj designed wellness centers along the front range of Colorado, creating safe spaces for people to learn, grow and thrive. These experiences prompted Cj to begin her own wellness journey knowing it’s never too late to start.

Relocating to North Carolina in 2018 you can find Cj enjoying time in the great outdoors hiking to waterfalls, reading a book or enjoying the fireflies.

Outside of work, Leighanne enjoys an active lifestyle in sunny San Diego. You’ll likely find her outdoors—surfing with her husband, walking her dogs, running, playing soccer, or spending time with friends.
