Zumba sessions combine Latin music with popular Latin dances such as salsa, mambo, merengue, and samba. Don’t worry if you’re not a Latin ballroom trophy holder. Just keep kicking
your legs and swaying your arms. Zumba Toning adds a toning element to the workout to Latin music.

  • Camera On Policy: 🎥 We require all students to have their camera ON for the duration of class. This is for a few reasons: for your safety, for the teacher to be able to teach clearly, and for the integrity of the class. This also ensures that our classes are a safe environment for all students!

About Your Instructor: Charita

Licensed Zumba® Fitness Instructor (Completed Basic 1, Basic 2, Strong by Zumba®, Pro Skills and Aqua Zumba Training). Member of the Zumba® Instructor Network (ZIN). Participated in the Zumba Instructor Network Annual Convention (ZINCON) 2015 – 2021. Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Group Exercise Instructor certified. CPR certified. 2015 Group Exercise Instructor of the Year for Gold’s Gym of Bowie, MD. Experienced at creating dynamic and fun choreography to Merengue, Salsa, Reggaeton, Cumbia and other world rhythms based upon the Zumba® formula.

Experienced line dancing instructor, choreographer, dancer, dance instructor (Modern, Ballet, African, Tap, Liturgical, Jazz, Taratibu), and performer. Possesses an in-depth understanding of safe exercise technique and correct body placement/form, effective interpersonal communication skills and innate sense of musicality. Meticulously demonstrates all skills being taught to group exercise participants.
